How long can a Somali stay in Rwanda?
The length of stay allowed in Rwanda is determined by the kind of e-visa. Travelers from Somalia who wish to spend some time in Rwanda need to be aware of the maximum number of days they are permitted to stay there. Rwanda Immigration Services will explain the following portion so that Somali visitors can follow it:
Rwanda e-Tourist visa: Somali people holding this kind of visa are permitted one 30-day admission for the duration of their stay in Rwanda.
- Rwanda e-Conference visa: With a single entry, Somali nationals holding this visa are allowed a maximum 30-day stay in Rwanda.
- Rwanda e-Transit visa: Visitors from Somalia are only allowed to enter Rwanda once throughout their three-day stay with this kind of visa.
- East Africa e-visa: A Somali who has this kind of visa may enter the country several times within a maximum of 90 days from the date of entry.
Any Somali visitor to Rwanda needs to be aware of the maximum number of days they are permitted to remain. Except for the transit e-visa, the tourist, conference, and East Africa e-visas are all extendable. Travelers from Somalia who knowingly break the rules will be subject to financial penalties in all cases. Somali nationals need to follow the guidelines to avoid wasting time and money on this.
