Rwanda opens new embassy in Rabat
Wednesday, 15 January 2020 - Rwanda opened an embassy in Rabat, Morocco. The event was led by Minister of State for East African Community, Amb. Olivier Nduhungirehe, and Morocco’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Nasser Bourita.
This step comes after many deals between the two nations. In 2016, 23 deals were signed during the King of Morocco’s visit to Rwanda. These deals include areas like farming, medicine, and trade.
"The start of Rwanda’s Embassy in Morocco is key to growing our ties and business links," said Minister Nduhungirehe.
Morocco and Rwanda will make a group to check on deals they share. This group will help speed up these deals and look for new ways to grow.
